Salary is from 8000RMB to 14000RMB. 

The school will provide a housing allowance, monthly bonus, annual paid holidays, paid sick leave, working visa (Z), and an air travel allowance at the end of your contract. 

Preferred Candidates should have the below criteria. Exceptions can be made for the right candidates.
1. Bachelor degree
2. Major in English/literature/anthropology/inter-culture communication/economics. 
3. Previous teaching experience
4. Marketing and business experience
5. Be able to develop courses individually
6. Good communication skills, patient, and enthusiastic about teaching
7. Native English speaker from Canada, USA, UK, New Zealand, or Australia.

The Australia-Vietnam School of English (AVSE) in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, is seeking to employ an experienced and dynamic ESL teacher on a 3-month (renewable) contract. The successful candidate will already be in Vietnam and be able to start immediately.

Hours & Salary

AVSE is offering a starting salary of US$15.00 (net) per hour for this position. Right now we’re able to offer a new teacher between 10 and 20 hours per week, but this is expected to increase over the coming months. If the new teacher requires more hours than we can offer at the present time, we’re happy to assist with finding additional hours at other quality schools in the Go Vap area. 

Qualifications

Vietnamese labour law requires foreign teachers to possess the following:

1. a 3-year University or College Degree from a legitimate institution;

2. an internationally recognised TESOL (or equivalent) certificate;

3. proof of a clean criminal record from the teacher’s home country; and

4. proof of good health.

Accommodation

AVSE can assist the new teacher to find affordable, western style accommodation in the Go Vap area. Fully furnished houses with two bedrooms, fully furnished houses with A/C, cable TV and internet access are available in Go Vap for around $350.00 per month. Cheaper accommodation options are also readily available.
